Recycle That Pickle Juice

Tatum’s Tuesday Tips this week? Recycle that pickle juice. No, I don’t mean the pickleback shot. That’s is a good one though. After you eat your pickles (or not?) use the juice to flavor your meats. Pork especially. I haven’t tried with tofu. I’ll let you know once I do. Any pickle juice will do, Claussen the most popular choice to date. Right, Dad?

Boil, bake or marinate your pork with the pickle juice. Shred, cut or slice to make a sandwich. Maybe a little Dijon mustard? Pickle in the side. Makes for one easy cleanup and saves ya a trip to the spice market. Besides fermented food does a body good.
