Oh how I love plants. But there is a but..If you are anything like me and don’t have a green thumb this tip is for you. My basil plants always lush green upon arrival and the fairest of them all (don’t tell my mini Cypress trees) until they aren’t. To the refrigerator the basil must go. The stem cutting certainly helps. I am not sure why but it does help. Wrap the trimmings in a paper clean towel (bonus points for reusables but I am not there yet myself) and store in a bin or sealed bag.
