
Grab ‘n go with fewer dishes is always a great idea. Less fuss the better. Most days. This one jar wonder may not even make it until morning despite the title above though. My first test batch almost didn’t. I was “checking” it every couple of hours. This meant at least two large tablespoons gobbled down after the first mini taste. What can I say? Clearly irresistible. Hearty light and filling packed full of flavors and does a body good goodness. Never thought I’d like cold oats. Now may I introduce Tatum’s Tiny Kitchen batch of (sort of) overnight oats. Here’s the recipe and a few quick iPhone photos for reference. I am sure you won’t mess this one up but a picture or two often helps. And that brings the obvious. Tatum’s Tuesday Tips for the week? Breakfast made easy. Pour all the below ingredients into a jar and give a quick stir before the lid and then a shake and roll one or two times after the lid is fastened tightly of course and refrigerate overnight. Easy peasy.


Dates Vanilla Almond Overnight Oats
ingredients
1 cup dry oats
1 cup of vanilla almond milk
3-4 Tablespoons of dark maple syrup
4-5 Tablespoons of Chia seeds (mine were heaping)
1/3 cup of sliced almonds
2 Tablespoons of ground cinnamon
2 Tablespoons of ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon of pink salt
5-7 pitted dates torn or chopped
instructions
in your empty clean jar add all ingredients in whatever order you choose. i added some almonds first then oats then almond milk then everything else and the rest of the almonds. stir and then fasten lid and give a good shake. Refrigerate and wait, until morning. if you can.
