I want something crunchy. Sweet and savory. I make it. Milk, yogurt, frozen yogurt and fruit a welcomed accompaniment.
I stayed awake watching documentaries until 6:am. I started with the Last Dance on Netflix and couldn’t stop watching. An early afternoon start looks like this. Pouring this and tossing that. My granola cereal.

My Granola Cereal
2 cups oats
1/4 cup of walnuts
1/4 cup of Turbinodo sugar
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon of Himalayan pink salt
1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
10 tablespoons of unrefined coconut oil
2 tablespoons of dark maple syrup
1 tablespoon of light maple syrup
1/4 cup of coconut flakes
optional: dark chocolate or carob chip.. I opt out today…
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl, except the coconut flakes. Once the dry ingredients are completely coated, evenly spread onto your prepared baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes. Check periodically and stir if need be. After 20 minutes, remove the pan from the oven. Add your coconut flakes and return to the oven to bake for another 3 to 5 minutes. Remove and let cool. I’d you can. I sample immediately nearly burping my mouth. Once cooled, transfer to an airtight container and add chocolate or carob chips if you choose. Store at room temperature.

Until Next Time..
