No Chips!? No problem. Parmigiano-Reggiano Crisps.

Need an easy and sophisticated appetizer?  The “King of Cheeses” delivers.  Who dat?  Parmesan-Reggiano, of course.  400 degrees and less than five minutes later.  Oven temperatures vary so let’s say ten minutes with the maybe necessary couple of additional cooking minutes and cooling time.  Stack ’em up. Pass them out.  Let me know if your guests are only able to eat just one.

Parmesan Crips Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup grated Parmesan

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Pour a heaping tablespoon of Parmesan onto a silicone or parchment lined baking sheet and lightly pat down. A silicone baking sheet is highly recommended. Repeat with the remaining cheese, spacing the spoonfuls about a 1/2 inch apart.
  3. Bake for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden and crisp. Cool.
