Magic Coffee: My Version of Thailand in a Jar!

2016-07-24 16-19-30 -0700This one is mine. Influenced by a Bon Appetite article, 5 Iced Coffee Combinations We Didn’t See Coming and in general looking to elevate my summer time coffee drink pre- bartending shift and otherwise, I get to work.  It does not take long. Helps having palm cane sugar syrup and coconut milk within my reach on a regular basis and being into coconut whatever so much lately it seems out of control, I come up with this. Some say I should bottle it.  Possibily.  Here it is. My version of magic coffee and Thailand in a jar! I haven’t even been to Thailand.  I’ll go. Soon.  This makes me think Thailand.  Tatum’s Thai Tea.  White or black linens as the back drop.  Some Italian marble.  An iPhone6 (at the time) in hand and help of my co-worker Samantha.  A photo shoot happens behind the bar.  Samantha also thinks I should bottle this. Recipe in development is underway, and for the sake of this post, it is made to taste.  Recipe also depending on how many hands go up when I ask if anyone would like “the iced coffee” on any afternoon. Also made tomtaste.  Everyday I end up making more and more. Here it is.  The right amount of smooth, creamy, and sweet.  Without fail, one of the most perfect pick me ups for any sluggish afternoon or summer night.  You can make it a bit boozy and add a spirit.  Policies and money handling behind the bar won’t allow the boozy.  We refrain.  I have to maintain composure.  After shift, another story.
